No. All three programs start from the beginning. You need access to a computer (Mac or PC) and a stable internet connection. Adobe software is included in your tuition — you do not need to purchase anything separately.
A Mac or PC laptop or desktop purchased within the last 5–6 years works fine for most students. Adobe Creative Cloud is included in your program tuition — you do not need to purchase it separately. You'll also need a stable internet connection for live classes.
All classes meet live via Zoom, twice per week. Sessions are approximately 2–3 hours each. In Weeks 7–8, students also receive dedicated 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with their instructor for personalized portfolio feedback. Recordings are available for enrolled students who miss a class.
8 weeks. Programs run twice per week with group sessions, plus personalized 1-on-1 mentorship in Weeks 7–8. You're committing roughly 5–6 hours per week including class time and project work.
Yes. Many students complete more than one certificate. Graduates of one program receive priority enrollment for subsequent programs.
Tuition is TBD — contact us for current pricing. It covers all live instruction, Adobe Creative Cloud software access for the program duration, weekly project feedback, and your co-branded completion certificate.

Our refund policy is detailed in the enrollment agreement provided at registration. In general: you may cancel enrollment and receive a full refund minus the registration fee within 3 business days of signing your enrollment agreement. After the program begins, prorated refunds are available. Contact us with questions.
Adults 18 and older. Utah residents can enroll now. If you are located outside Utah, join the waitlist and you'll be notified as soon as we expand to your state.
Yes. The Post-Production Academy is registered with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (DCP) as a non-degree granting postsecondary school. Registration #14283390-9983, effective May 13, 2026. Utah residents may enroll now. Students in other states will be able to enroll as we receive authorization in additional states.
The Academy programs are not currently eligible for federal financial aid (Title IV). Following DCP registration, we will apply to Utah's Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), which will allow eligible students to use WIOA Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers through their local American Job Center. We equip you with the skills and portfolio to compete for entry-level and freelance positions. We don't guarantee job placement, but our curriculum is designed specifically around what employers ask for in interviews and portfolio reviews.
Video Editing graduates can pursue roles as video editor, content editor, social media editor, or assistant editor. Graphic Design graduates can pursue graphic designer, brand designer, digital marketing designer, or social media designer roles. Animation & VFX graduates can pursue motion designer, VFX artist, compositor, or broadcast designer roles. All graduates are also positioned for freelance work immediately.
The national median salary for Film & Video Editors (SOC 27-4032) is $70,980/year as of May 2024 (Bureau of Labor Statistics). Los Angeles market wages are typically higher. Entry-level and freelance rates vary. Animators and VFX artists (SOC 27-1014) earn a national median of $99,060/year.
